Do you support domestic abuse survivors?

FLOWS, which stands for Finding Legal Options for Women Survivors, is a legal support service, designed to support frontline workers working with women survivors of domestic abuse.

If you come into contact with women who are experiencing domestic abuse, we can help you to support each individual, from just considering their options, to successful court proceedings where appropriate.

How we can help

Our legal advisers, from the Royal Courts of Justice (RCJ) Advice family team, provide phone and email consultancy to help you – and/or your service user – to understand the legal and practical options open to them.

Become a FLOWS Partner and join our network

If you work for a family solicitor, a women’s organisation, or a frontline agency (e.g. in the advice sector) dealing with domestic abuse survivors, your organisation can become a FLOWS partner. This will enable you to access our award-winning CourtNav system and other services and resources.

Refer women to FLOWS

If you work for a statutory body (e.g. the police, NHS, local authority) and you encounter women who are experiencing domestic abuse, you can refer them to the FLOWS service. We provide confidential support and can connect your service users with a network of trusted advisers if it's appropriate.

Join the conversation on the FLOWS discussion forum

Rights of Women, our delivery partner in FLOWS, has launched an online Family law discussion forum where you can confidentially share issues and get advice around some of the legal issues your service users may be experiencing.
